Welcome to Fun2BeMe, where each child’s journey to growth and joy is deeply valued and individually nurtured. Located in Medina, Ohio, our clinic has been a beacon of hope and progress for families since its inception in 2007.

Founded by Dr. Pam Blake, Fun2BeMe began as a small practice with a big vision: to provide transformative, personalized therapy that goes beyond traditional methods.
Dr. Blake, a seasoned occupational therapist with over 30 years of experience, pursued her passion for helping children with sensory and developmental challenges by integrating sensory integration (SI) and Developmental Individual-Differences Relationship-Based (DIR) strategies into her practice. This unique blend has not only set Fun2BeMe apart but has also proven essential in shaping successful outcomes for our clients.
Dr. Pam Blake’s journey in occupational therapy began at Cleveland State University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. Her commitment to advancing her knowledge and skills led her to Chatham University, where she completed her post-professional clinical doctorate. Dr. Blake is not just a practitioner but a pioneer in integrating innovative therapies with traditional methods. Her certifications include Sensory Integration and Praxis Tests from the Western Psychological Corp, Mentorship Level 1 from the Star Institute, Evaluation in Ayres Sensory Integration (EASI) test, and the DIR Floortime®-Proficient approach, among others.
Dr. Blake is also a seasoned homeschool educator (pre-K through 12th grade), and she has many years of professional experience providing therapy to homeschoolers. She is familiar with several homeschool curricula commonly used and has vast experience integrating sensory and cognitive strategies into the homeschool day and lifestyle.
At Fun2BeMe, we see therapy as a dynamic and immersive experience that encourages children to actively engage, explore, and grow.
Each child is unique, which is why our therapy sessions are carefully crafted to address their individual needs through a diverse array of therapeutic techniques and strategies. We employ a blend of sensory integration (SI) and Developmental Individual-Difference Relationship-Based (DIR) approaches, enriched with elements from other evidence-based practices. This combination ensures that therapy is not only enjoyable but also deeply effective, fostering improvements in areas such as sensory processing, motor skills, social interactions, and self-regulation.
To strengthen our DIR approach and ensure that these improvements translate into everyday life, parents are encouraged to stay and observe therapy sessions, and siblings can be included when appropriate. This family involvement helps extend the benefits of our strategies beyond the clinic, making each session a vital part of everyday learning and adaptation. When therapists and parents use a consistent approach, it helps the child’s developmental progression of skills and fostering of genuine relationships, and it helps you, the parent, to ensure that these improvements translate into everyday life.
Moreover, our therapists are trained to creatively integrate play into therapy, making each session enjoyable and meaningful. By harnessing the natural motivations and interests of each child, we facilitate not just learning but also genuine progress and joy.
